"My Papa In The Military" - Acrylic
While in high school, I attempted one of my first large scale paintings. It features the man responsible for getting me into art in the first place. My papa (my mom's father) used to sit and draw comic strips with me every Sunday evening. For all that early inspiration and encouragement, I did him several pieces while he was alive. This is a large canvas painting of him in the military.
